Catching Fury STL ❧ Grades 5-7 for the 2024-2025 school year Date: Aug. 2, 8:30 am-5 pm Location: Eureka Fire Protection District Training Center 63069 Cost: $60; price includes T-shirt and lunch Middle school Girl Scouts can experience a sneak peek of the active and adventurous Camp Fury STL during a day camp! Gear up and work alongside the elite women from St. Louis’ fire and police services while learning defensive tactics, hose lines, First Aid/CPR skills and handcuffing. This camp is inspired by Camp Fury STL and will offer a sampling of activities campers would experience during the week-long Overnight Camp. Ride up the bluffs on the SkyTour (either a gondola or a ski lift seat), zing down on an alpine coaster, and float on the Hakuna Matata Boat down the Mississippi River! Enjoy lunch (included) on the banks of the river, and explore nature around the area. Bus transportation included. Join us on this fun-filled adventure just around the bend in Grafton, IL. Adults joining will be able to participate in all three activities. *Girl Scouts must be 54” or taller to participate in this program on their own. If they are under 54”, an adult must attend with them and be willing to go down the alpine coaster with them. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Berges Family Program Center. She & Me ❧ (camper fee + one caregiver) Grades PreK-4 for the 2024-2025 school year Date: July 1-2, July 10-11, July 23-24, July 24-25 Location: Tuckaho 63379 Cost: $70 per person At She & Me, Girl Scouts experience all the fun of camp with their special “She” (a mom, grandmother, aunt, adult sister or mentor). As a pair, they enjoy outdoor programming together, such as exploring the trails on a hike, crafts, slingshots, fishing at the lake, and splashing in the pool. Adults must have a completed background check on file to attend. One-Night Adventures
Explore nature with us at Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park this summer! We will meet with park naturalists to learn about the area and animals, practice archery, and cool off in the river. Bus transportation and lunch is included. Girl Scouts receive a fun patch. *Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Berges Family Program Center. FIRST ® LEGO ® League Challenge Robotics Badge Day ❧ Grades 3-7 for the 2024-2025 school year Date: July 22, 9 am-4 pm Location: Berges Family Program Center 63146 Cost: $60 Girl Scouts will learn the basics of creating and programming robots with LEGO ® along with a sneak peek into the FIRST ® LEGO ® League (FLL) program and GSEM robotics team experience. The day will be full of exciting hands-on STEM learning and lunch is provided. Girl Scouts earn their Programming Robots Badge, Designing Robots Badge, and Showcasing Robots Badge. NEW Junior Horseback Riding at Kraus Farms ❧ Grades 4-5 for the 2024-2025 school year Date: June 4, 9 am-4 pm Location: Kraus Farms Equestrian Center 63049 Cost: $110 Explore the world of horses, learn about their behavior and safety, and have fun doing horse-themed crafts and activities before going for a ride! Girl Scouts Juniors earn their Horseback Riding Badge. Lunch provided. *Drop-off and pick-up will be at Kraus Farms Equestrian Center.
