Campers participate in an equestrian lesson each day, ranging from horse care and saddling to trail rides and walk/trot in the arena. Daily activities in camp allow campers to continue to grow their outdoor skills and love of nature. Date: June 15-20, July 13-18 Location: Cedarledge 63070 Cost: $450 through March 31, $485 starting April 1 and $525 starting May 1 Explore the trails of Camp Cedarledge on horseback! Campers will ride on our beautiful, shaded trails with different horses. During camp, Girl Scouts also swim daily and participate in activities such as archery, games, and crafts. Older Girl Scout Horse Overnight ❧ Grades 5-11 for the 2024-2025 school year Date: July 1-2 Location: Cedarledge 63070 Cost: $115 through March 31, $125 starting April 1 and $160 starting May 1 Come spend the night at the Cedarledge Equestrian Center! Older Girl Scouts take a trail ride (weather permitting), cook out over a campfire and enjoy s’mores at the barn before spending the night with the horses. Intermediate Camps Saddle Sense Trefoil Rewards Discount Eligible Grades 8-11 for the 2024-2025 school year Date: June 8-20, July 20-Aug. 1 Location: Cedarledge 63070 Cost: $660 through March 31, $695 starting April 1 and $730 starting May 1 The equestrian journey continues for intermediate riders with Saddle Sense. Girl Scouts continue to develop riding skills in the arena, ride the camp trails, and enjoy a sleep out at the barn. Daily camp activities allow campers to enjoy target sports, swimming, and campfires while developing skills in an outdoor environment. Campers experience a barn tour, trail ride, and arena lesson during this camp. Each day is also packed with traditional camp activities such as crafts, hiking, swimming, and time spent with new friends. Girl Scouts complete steps of the Horseback Riding Badge during their week at camp. Campers tour the barn, ride a horse, cook out over a campfire, and enjoy evening games at a slumber party with the horses.
