Money Management

Money for products ordered through the order card by the troop must be paid to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Your troop is financially responsible for all products ordered, regardless of whether they are sold. Your troop will keep the earned proceeds. This payment is collected electronically from the troop’s bank account via ACH on Dec. 18. In early November, a test ACH may be run by the Finance team to make sure all bank account information is accurate. If this happens, it would show as a $.01 withdrawal. You should collect and deposit cash frequently as a best practice. A Troop Late Payment Report is required for any family not paying in full by the deadline. Check out the Money Management Nuts & Bolts module for more details. Returning troops: Troop bank account information will be rolled over into M2 from the 2024 Cookie Program. Troops must review and make any needed changes by Oct. 28 to authorize ACH transfers for the 2024 Program. New troops: Work with your troop leader to accurately enter the troop’s bank account information by Oct. 28. • Establish and communicate troop deadlines for order card and money collection; deadlines should be no later than a few days prior to the Dec. 18 ACH date

• Collect money for order card payments and deposit money in the troop bank account frequently
