CSA Star Party Grades 6-8 for the 2023-2024 school year Date: July 17-18 Location: Camp Fiddlecreek 63055 Cost: $60 Join your fellow Girl Scouts and become space scientist researchers! You will discover your place in the Universe through learning about the properties of light and observing the night sky. Come find out what discoveries we will make about the Universe at Camp Fiddlecreek. Enjoy the evening by staying up late with new friends and sleep in the next morning. The star party will include lodging in Myrtle’s Manor, dinner, and breakfast. Cadettes will earn their Space Science Researcher Badge, Seniors will earn their Space Science Expert Badge, and Ambassadors will earn their Space Science Master Badge. Cadettes through Ambassadors are invited to explore the world of robotics, engineering, leadership, and LEGO®. Girl Scouts will build LEGO® robots, design challenges, and so much more during this program. On Saturday, they will lead Girl Scout Daisies as they design and code to complete LEGO® challenges. Girl Scout and Me Bystander Program Grades 8-12 for the 2023-2024 school year and adults Date: July 19-20 Location: Berges Family Program Center 63146 Cost: $60 How often have you seen something that needed to be changed and wondered “why isn’t someone doing something about that?” This Girl Scout and Me program gives you a way to be that someone—an advocate with the power to start the first flutter of real and lasting change. While creating your own butterfly effect, you’ll learn skills such as networking, planning, and speaking up for what you believe. Robotics Overnight Grades 6-12 for the 2023-2024 school year Date: July 12-13 Location: Berges Family Program Center 63146 Cost: $60

Hamilton Missouri Trip Grades 4-8 for the 2023-2024 school year Date: June 26-28 Location: Berges Family Program Center 63146 Cost: $300 per person

Take a trip to Hamilton, Missouri, the quilting capitol. On this fun and interactive adventure, Girl Scouts will learn about quilting and sewing as an art form, explore the amazing shops throughout town, and learn how to sew by creating their own beautiful quilting project. Transportation, lodging, and meals are included in the cost of the program. Washington D. C. Trip Trefoil Rewards Discount Eligible Grades 6-12 for the 2023-2024 school year Date: June 10-13 Location: Berges Family Program Center 63146 Cost: $1,000 per person Join us for an adventure to our nation’s capitol! Girl Scouts will spend two full days exploring museums, historical sites, and memorials throughout the city, while working toward the completion of their Democracy and Citizen Badges. Flights, lodging, and meals are all included in the cost of the program. We will have a virtual information meeting about the trip on Dec. 4, 2023 from 7-8 pm. Volunteering in Programs (VIP) Grades 6-12 for the 2023-2024 school year Dates: July 9-12, Aug. 6-9 Location: Camp Fiddlecreek 63055 Cost: $225

Volunteering in Programs (VIP) training is designed to help Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts discover their talents in mentoring and leading younger girls, gain the confidence, knowledge and expertise needed to guide girls, and prepares them to hold future leadership positions within and outside of Girl Scouting. Join us at Camp Fiddlecreek to design and facilitate exciting programs for younger Girl Scouts, make new friends, and experience your own fun camp activities in the evenings. We will also host two planning sessions at the Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center prior to the summer so girls can meet each other and start brainstorming activities. Sessions will be scheduled after registration closes, based on participant availability. Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors will earn their Volunteer in Training Award, and Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Program Aide Award.

Senior/Ambassador Outdoor Journey Grades 8-12 for the 2023-2024 school year Date: Aug. 9-10 Location: Greensfelder County Park 63069 Cost: $80

Deepen your outdoor skills and appreciation with other older Girl Scouts! Seniors and Ambassadors will spend a weekend adventuring outdoors, sleeping under the stars, and honing their outdoor expertise. Tents and communal gear are provided by council. Girl Scouts are responsible for bringing a sleeping bag and other personal items. A virtual, evening prep meeting will be held the week before the program, date and details will be sent via email confirmation. A Senior/Ambassador Journey is a prerequisite to a Girl Scout Gold Award. Seniors will earn their Outdoor Journey (Adventurer, Senior First Aid, Adventure Camper). Ambassadors will earn their Outdoor Journey (Outdoor Art Master, Water, Survival Camper). Both levels will earn part of their Take Action Project.
