Getting Started

Adult volunteers who plan to camp with their troops on or off Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri-owned property must be Troop Camp Certified. Troop Camp certification courses ensure adult volunteers know how to plan a Troop Camping experience that everyone enjoys. All adults attending training and/or orientation must be registered members with a background check. Troop Camp Blitz (camper fee + one parent/adult) Cost: $35 per adult; $70 per Girl Scout Day Date Time Location

Girls and their leaders are invited to come to Camp Tuckaho for Troop Camp Blitz, an enriching weekend where they can explore the outdoors, practice leadership, have fun and make memories. • This event is for adults with girls, as well as adults attending alone. Girls must be a registered Girl Scout Daisy through Junior. • There will be an In-Town Training on April 10 at the Girl Scout Service Center, this is for adults only • Course must be completed in its entirety for participants to be certified and receive a voucher for a free weekend at camp • Online trainings (accessed via gsLearn) required before the In-Town Training: Troop Camping 101, Troop Camping Information Packet (TCIP) Review, Introduction to Eastern Missouri Camps and Standard Camp Unit Checkout For more information, contact Shaun Lindhoff at 314.400.4628 or slindhoff@girlscoutsem.org

Spring Into Service Dates: March 29-30, 2024 Camps Cedarledge, Fiddlecreek or Tuckaho Come help the rangers get the tents ready to open for spring! Groups will complete a list of cleaning and de-wintering tasks. No experience is required. Register as a family or troop and stay one night FREE at the camp of your choosing. Groups must have a licensed troop camper in each unit to stay the night. All adults must have a current background check, if staying the night. Lunch on Saturday and a patch are included.
