2024 Camp Adventure Guide

Troop Camp Girl Scouts are forces of nature, and they were meant for outdoor adventures. Whether they are paddling in a canoe for the first time or discovering wildlife, every Troop Camp adventure grows a Girl Scout’s “I’ve got this” attitude. Once Girl Scouts unlock that confidence, they’ll aim as high as the stars they see outside their lodge window.

Types of Units Available for Troop Camp Reservations:

Primitive and Tent Units: These units are perfect for the troop that wants to experience a traditional camping environment.

Themed Units: Sleep in a covered wagon, yurt or tree house and discover the magic of camp.

Lodge Units: Do you want to enjoy modern amenities at camp? Our lodge units have heat in the winter, small kitchens and outdoor fire pits. Several of our lodges have air conditioning during the summer months as well.

Activity Staff Weekends Learn From the Experts! Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri is committed to providing troops with opportunities to experience all that camp has to offer. We provide staff certified in various activities on select weekends each month to enhance the troop camping experience. These activities are offered to troops with camp unit reservations, including day shelters, on the scheduled program dates. Two months before their camping reservation date, troops are sent a link from the Camp Department to sign up for activities. Troops are given three weeks to sign up for activities. Two activities will be offered each weekend, and troops can select one to participate in. Sign-ups are on a first come, first-serve basis.
