Hispanic Heritage Month Patch Program

Celebrate and Unlock A Special Patch!

September is Hispanic Heritage Month, a time when we celebrate the countless contributions that Hispanics and Latinos have made and continue to make in the United States. We honor the cultural richness of all people in the U.S. whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. GSEM Program Managers will host four virtual sessions to help Girl Scouts get started on completing the required activities. Prior to September 1, Girl Scouts will receive a box of supplies mailed to their home. The box will provide the list of requirements and activities for the virtual sessions and the patch! Virtual Programs Sept. 4: Hola, Girl Scouts: A Celebration of Spanish Language Sept. 10: Pyramids and Temples: STEM Through Ancient Eyes Sept. 16: Food Fiesta: Hispanic Cooking and Culture Sept. 22: From Mariachi to Salsa: Celebrating Hispanic Music Traditions
