Highest Award Celebrations

Each year, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri celebrates all Bronze, Silver and Gold Award Girl Scouts with family and friends. Bronze and Silver Award Girl Scouts are honored during a special celebration, Recognitions. Gold Award Girl Scouts are recognized for their exemplary service during a pinning ceremony at Reflections. Girl Scouts who submit completion for their highest award projects by March 1 will be recognized in June 2025. Invitations and all the details will be sent directly to those Girl Scouts who earned, following that deadline. If a Girl Scout submits after March 1, they will be recognized the following year. More information about the award events will be announced in April 2025. Gold Award Girl Scouts will complete their final report in GoGold for their submission.

Gold Award Scholarship Opportunities

All Gold Award Girl Scouts honored at the 2025 Reflections Ceremony will be considered for the 2026 Changemaker Scholarship; a $5,000 higher-education scholarship awarded at GSEM's annual Dessert First event. Learn more at girlscoutsem.org/dessertfirst . Each year, Girl Scouts who earned their Gold Award and meet eligibility requirements, can apply for a national scholarship for post-secondary education. The 2025 scholarship application will open next spring and those that are eligible to apply will be notified by GSUSA. Learn more at girlscouts.org/goldawardscholarship .
