Join us for a fun-filled day of learning and adventure in Chesterfield! We will spend the morning exploring local attractions and hear employee experiences. Girl Scouts can explore a variety of jobs and what it takes to get there. After a picnic lunch, we will head over to the Reinsurance Group of America's (RGA) office and participate in workshops and discussions with their staff. Girl Scouts will learn practical strategies for interviewing, get tips on crafting an impressive resume, and learn how to present themselves confidently in a professional setting. Whether preparing for a leadership role at school, a first job, an internship or college interviews, this session will provide the tools and strategies needed to succeed!

Where adventure meets diversity! This camp experience invites Girl Scouts to explore cultures from around the world while building friendships and developing new skills! Girl Scouts will prepare international cuisines, participate in traditional crafts, learn about cultural dances, and engage in discussions about various cultural traditions. Together, we will celebrate our differences and discover the beauty of unity in diversity!

Join us at Maryville University to explore the exciting world of healthcare careers! This program will allow Girl Scouts to delve into several impactful careers, such as nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy. In each session, Girl Scouts will discover what each career is all about through interactive lessons and talking with one of Maryville University's outstanding professors. Lunch and patch included.

Deepen your outdoor skills and appreciation with other older Girl Scouts! Seniors and Ambassadors will spend a weekend adventuring outdoors, sleeping under the stars, and honing their outdoor expertise. Tents, communal gear, and meals are provided by council. A virtual, evening prep meeting will be held Thursday, July 24. *Senior Girl Scouts are required to attend a CPR class to complete their Outdoor Journey. The CPR class will be held on August 5, but other arrangements can be made.

Girl Scouts earn their Outdoor Journey Award and complete a portion of their Take Action Project.

Take a deep dive with Bayer professionals into a look at STEM and Agriculture! Girl Scouts will get an exclusive tour of the facility and hear from inspiring women scientists about their careers in science and technology. We will meet with experts in various fields to learn about the many career opportunities at Bayer. Throughout the day, we’ll explore the importance of agriculture and discover how innovations in farming help protect our planet.
