This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. This training will allow Girl Scouts and adults to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit completion.

Calling all Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts who are ready to emBARK on a paw-some journey at Kennelwood Pet Resort! Girl Scouts will tour the facility, learn how we can keep our fluffy pals in tip-top shape, and decode doggie talk with a lesson on how to read dog body language. It’s going to be pawsitively adorable!

Interested in pursuing a Highest Award but not sure how to get started? Join us for a night to learn all about the Highest Awards—Bronze, Silver and Gold! When Girl Scouts focus on an issue they care about, learn the facts, and take action to make a difference in their community, they gain leadership and confidence skills that will grow with them as they continue to be changemakers in the world! Caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend the session.

Grades 5-8

Learning about and caring for the outdoors helps us appreciate the world around us while learning valuable skills to become confident people. Cadettes will explore outdoors at night, go on a trail adventure, and camp in a tent. Tents, communal gear, and meals are provided by council. A required virtual, evening prep meeting will be held on Thursday, June 5. Cadettes earn their Night Owl Badge, Primitive Camper Badge, Trailblazer Badge and a portion of the Cadette Take Action Award.

Explore one of St. Louis' historic and lively locations, full of entertainment and history. We will start the day at the library to learn about the city's culture and heritage with a local expert, then enjoy a delicious lunch at the Blueberry Hill restaurant! After our meal, we'll visit the iconic Vintage Vinyl store to learn about their history and what it's like to own a small business on the Loop. We'll close out the day with a photo scavenger hunt and refreshing ice cream at Fitz's. We'll head back to the library to go home full of food, culture, and history!

Junior Outdoor Journey ☙ June 27-28 5 pm, Fri.-noon, Sat. $80 per Girl Scout Max Girl Scouts: 24 Max Adults: 4 Reg. Deadline: June 13

This Journey will show Girl Scout Juniors how fun outdoor adventures can be and teach them how to care for our environment. Juniors will learn to take care of animal habitats, protect our natural spaces, and camp outside in tents. Tents, communal gear and meals provided. A required virtual, evening prep meeting will be held on Thursday, June 19. Juniors earn their Animal Habitats Badge, Camper Badge, Eco Camper Badge and a portion of the Junior Take Action Award
