Girl Scout Council Led Programs Did you know that Girl Scout programming extends beyond traditional troop meetings, badgework and cookie sales? GSEM also hosts year-round individual programs that celebrate lifelong learning in the areas of STEM, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship and Outdoor Adventure. And those programs are made better by the participation and support of our corporate partners who contribute to the curriculum, serve as one-time guest speakers, host field trips at their places of employment, and much more! The Junior Budget Maker program was both fun and rewarding. The staff at GSEM helped us every step of the way, from lesson-planning to last-minute decorating ideas. In the end, everyone’s time was well-spent, dreams were discovered (and saved), and laughs were shared and THAT’s what makes volunteering with GSEM so rewarding! -Danny Shaver, Charles Schwab
