World Thinking Day Celebration Feb. 23 Start: 6 pm End: 8 pm $10 per Girl Scout

Each February, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides across 150 countries celebrate World Thinking Day. It’s a day of international friendship and a time to stand up for causes that could improve the lives of girls around the globe. This year, the theme is “Our World, Our Peaceful Future”, and we will be exploring what we can learn from the environment and how we can work with nature to create a more peaceful and secure future for girls everywhere. We will explore the topics of stewardship, harmony, and the role the environment plays in peace and security. Girl Scouts will receive a fun World Thinking Day patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Senior | Ambassador Grades 9-12 Our Older Girl Scouts will have a blast earning their Locavore Badge as they plan and implement the ‘She and Me and a Cup of Tea’ program on March 10. During our virtual program, participants will research local food sources, plan the food options for our tea party and create the shopping lists. Then on March 10, the older girls will host the tea party where they will cook a simple dish!

Girl Scout Seniors will earn their Locavore Badge. Location: Virtual

Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Climb to new heights with us at Climb So Ill, a rock climbing gym in St. Charles! Brownies will learn how to rock climb with an auto belay, which is climbing on an artificial wall with a harness and rope that takes up slack automatically as they climb. Girl Scouts will also participate in fun rock-related activities while not climbing. No prior rock climbing experience needed! Adults that sign up to participate will be able to climb, and we also request that they help spot the girls as they climb.

Brownie Climbing Adventure Feb. 27 Start: 5:30 pm End: 7:30 pm

$27 per Girl Scout Max Girl Scouts: 25 Max adults: 5 Reg. Deadline: Feb. 13

Nothing's more important than good health—and as women, we have unique health issues at every stage of our lives. How can you make the health decisions that are right for you, and what kinds of support are out there to guide you? Join us to find out! Identify health topics facing women in your community and across the globe, explore those that matter most to you, and reach out to raise awareness to spread good health to the women in your world. Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors will earn their Women's Health Badge.
