Offered to: Juniors Grades 4-5 Do you want to take a ride in your dream car? Before you can do that, you need to design it! Girls will learn how to conduct market research to create the vehicles of the future by sketching and sculpting a model. This program includes a box mailed to the participants house with all the supplies needed and the badge earned.

Gold Award Training - Jan. 16 Start: 5:30 pm End: 7:30 pm $0 per Girl Scout

This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high-school aged girl can earn. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! Girls going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; they will learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on Go Gold. Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Newspaper cartoons, comic books, graphic novels... comic art is broad, exciting, and growing field. Comics are sometimes described as "sequential art," though some are only one panel. So what is a comic exactly? It's a visual story told however you would like to tell it. Join us for an introduction to the amazing world of comic art! This program includes a box mailed to the participants house with all the supplies needed and the badge earned.
