Offered to: Brownie | Junior Grades 2-5 Guided by Kappa Deltas at Saint Louis University, Brownies and Juniors will work on their Think Like a Engineer Journey find out how engineers use design thinking to solve problems. They will work together to complete three design thinking activities specialized for their level. Girls will need to complete the Take Action Project on their own after the program. Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors will earn their Think Like an Engineer Journey Award. Location: St. Louis University, 1 North Grand Blvd., St. Louis 63103 Grades 6-8 Cadette Girl Scouts are constantly exposed to messages about how they look, think, and act. In this program, Cadettes will embark on a journey to examine the messages they receive, learn how to examine media with a critical eye, and how they can engage with media in a healthy way. This is an overnight program, dinner, snacks, and breakfast will be provided. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Media Journey Award. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 2-3 Brownies will design and build race cars to explore how science can make a faster race car! Girls will conduct testing and record their results to figure out how their design affects the speed. Gold Award Training Nov. 14 Start: 5:30 pm End: 7:30 pm $0 per Girl Scout

This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high-school aged girl can earn. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! Girls going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; they will learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on Go Gold. Location: Virtual and Girl Scout Service Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Shopping can be fun, and having the tools to compare prices and manage our shopping within our means can make it economical and safe. A rare opportunity to earn a retired badge, join us live to do some comparison shopping!
