Offered to: Daisy | Brownie | Junior | Cadette | Senior | Ambassador Grades K-12 Come join us to kick off the Girl Scout year at camp with one amazing day of fun activities and camp! We invite individual Girl Scouts and troops to join us for the day or camp that weekend for just $5 per person. Please visit pgs. 10-11 of the publication for all the details! Adults must be registered to attend with their Girl Scouts and the event cost includes lunch, patch and transportation into camp. Grades K-1 Climb to new heights with us at Climb So Ill, a rock climbing gym in St. Charles! Daisies will learn how to boulder, which is climbing on a low wall (no more than 6 feet high) without a harness. No prior rock climbing experience needed! Seniors and Ambassadors will also make a financial plan for the future. Girl Scout Seniors will earn and receive their My Financial Power Badge. Girl Scout Ambassadors will earn part of and receive their My Financial Independence Badge. Grades 9-12 The years after high school are an exciting time as Girl Scouts go out into the world and figuring out what adult life is going to look like for them. Some will go to college right after high school, and some will take different paths. If you've decided that college is the best choice for you and your family, you may be feeling both excited and overwhelmed. Simplify the college preparation process by tackling it step-by-step, and get ready for the next amazing chapter of your life! During this program, the Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation will do a presentation with caregivers around the types of financial aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and 529 accounts. This will help prepare caregivers on how to support their Girl Scout on their transition after high school. This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal.
