2023-2024 Inspire Discovery

GSEM Equestrian Programs Enjoy a unique horseback riding experience at Camp Cedarledge. Located in Pevely, approximately 45 minutes from the Girl Scout Service Center, our equestrian program is run by experienced wranglers who help riders of all levels discover the joy of horses. All programs have a 12-person limit. Troops who exceed the 12-person limit can choose two time slots or contact the Answer Center for assistance in scheduling a program. Adults are welcome to register and ride, but are not required to as wranglers secure ratios on the trail ride (except Pony Tales). Adjustments to GSEM Equestrian Programs may be made once participants are on site due to horse behavior or temperament. Horses are live animals that have unique physical and personality traits, just like humans do, and they may have days where their workload needs to be limited due to soreness or fatigue. We strive to always run our programs as planned, but our first and foremost concern is Girl Scout safety.
