2022 Troop Cookie Manager Guide

Initial Early Orders and Rewards

Question: Where does a parent enter the paper order form items in Digital Cookie? Answer: This is done on the Girl Scout’s Digital Cookie dashboard, under “My Cookies.” No payment is made at this time. It’s simply entering total quantities by variety. The troop cookie volunteer will then have to pull a report of this information so they can add it to your Girl Scout’s initial early order in our cookie system. Please see a tip sheet here. Question: My Girl Scout has sold enough to earn certain rewards, but Digital Cookie doesn’t show she has earned it yet. Why? Answer: Digital Cookie updates rewards earned based on the information in our cookie management system, eBudde. Since any girl-delivery order hasn’t been submitted to council with the troop order yet, eBudde doesn’t reflect those packages as officially sold yet. It will update once the troop submits their initial early order at the end of January/early February. Question: When can we take credit card payments in Digital Cookie? Answer: Customers can place an order for credit card payment at any point. The option for the Girl Scout and her adults to take payment when delivering order form cookies will become active on February 14, the week Girl Scout Cookies arrive to troops. Individual girls who have a published site in Digital Cookie can use it to accept payment for cookies ordered on their paper order form. Troops with a published Digital Cookie site can use it to process payment at cookie booths. Question: What if I have multiple parents helping at a cookie booth - how can they use Digital Cookie for payments? Answer: If that parent/caretaker has a Girl Scout with a published Digital Cookie site, when they open the Digital Cookie app, it will ask them who wants to sell cookies- TroopXXXX or their Girl Scout’s site. They choose the troop site, then click the blue +New Cookie Order. Credit Card Payments Question: My Girl Scout’s name isn’t correct on her site. How do I change this? Answer: On your girl’s Digital Cookie dashboard, click My Account at the top. Click the right tab for Girl Account(s), then click Edit. Question: If my Girl Scout had a Digital Cookie site last year, will the login be the same? How do we set up the girl’s storefront? Answer: Digital Cookie sites need to be set up new each year. You should have received an email to set up your Girl Scout’s site and create a password for this year. If you didn’t receive that email, please visit https://www.girlscoutsem.org/en/cookies/LBBdigitalcookie.html for information and link to the site. Question: If my Girl Scout registered late, can she still set up a Digital Cookie site? Answer: Girls can participate in the cookie program at any point during the program. New troops and girls will be uploaded into eBudde and Digital Cookie throughout the season. You can also contact us to have them added to eBudde and to receive the setup email from Digital Cookie. Please contact the Answer Center at answercenter@girlscoutsem.org for assistance. Question: Where do girls/parents find the link to send out to family/friends to sell cookies? Answer: During set up of their Digital Cookie sites, girls can enter the email addresses of friends and family and set up marketing emails to send when their site goes live. For girls who have set up and published their site, their home page will have a unique site URL they can copy and paste to share via social media, text or a personal email.
