2022 Treats & Reads Troop Manager Guide

Dear Valued Volunteer,

Choosing to participate in the Treats & Reads program is your troop’s key to unlocking adventures early this Girl Scout year. Supporting your troop will allow them to GO Bright Ahead and kick things into gear for community service, badges and uniform components, field trips, meeting supplies and more. Plus, when your troop participates in this program, they are also investing in the future of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, meaning new and existing Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful camps, build new skills and make new friends!

We thank you for volunteering your valuable time to take on this important work.

Inside this guide, you’ll find detailed information to help you have a successful season. You can also access additional program resources on the website.

As you get started and go through the program, please reach out to your Neighborhood Treats & Reads Manager or the Answer Center for assistance.

Yours in Girl Scouting, Michelle Johnson Director, Product Programs
