District 1, Troop 479 St. Francis of Assisi School 10 years in Girl Scouts Gabriella gained the full leadership experience by creating a positive change and organizing a community awareness day in Jefferson County. Gabriella hosted booths at a local fall festival where she informed her peers about the different community offerings. District 12, Troop 1680 Marquette Senior High School 12 years in Girl Scouts Abby tackled the global issue of refugee assimilation through her Gold Award project. Anne worked with the International Institute in St. Louis to scan and upload documents from the past two decades. Abby's work gives refugees access to their photos and provides more knowledge to the public. District 4, Troop 2074 Fort Zumwalt East High School 7 years in Girl Scouts As an avid equestrian, Melanie knew the benefits to horseback riding, but also the dangers. To earn her Gold Award, Melanie filmed tutorial videos covering the basics of horseback riding and safety tips. Melanie uploaded her videos to YouTube and copied them onto a DVD for local barns to use for beginners.
District 5, Troop 3731 Homeschooled 5 years in Girl Scouts
Ne'Shanti wanted to do her part to help her peers recognize the importance of mental health. Ne'Shanti organized a community event where she gave a speech about issues she acknowledges in her community and how those in attendance can find help and resources.

District 1, Troop 491 Oakville Senior High School 11 years in Girl Scouts
Olivia knew she wanted to do her part to help the environment. So, Olivia organized an Eco Art Club at her school that met once a month to create art out of recycled materials. She then hosted an art show to spread awareness of recycling and show off the students' work.

District 14, Troop 4916 Timberland High School 9 years in Girl Scouts
Katelyn created a sense of community and uplifting atmosphere for her peers to earn her Gold Award. Katelyn designed and painted inspirational murals in six bathrooms at Timberland High School.
Gold Award Girl Scouts with a Trefoil next to their name have earned all three of Girl Scouting's highest awards: the Girl Scout Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards.
