2021 COVID-19 GUIDELINES Refund Protocol

Refunds Council-sponsored programs and events

Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will be conducting a temperature check on all participants attending a council sponsored program or event. A participant who presents with a fever of 100.4˚F or greater will not be able to participate. In this instance, a refund or other program option will be offered. If a Council program or camp is canceled by Council , those registered for the program or camp will automatically receive a full refund. If you would like to donate all or part of your program cost to support ongoing programs, please email the Answer Center at answercenter@girlscoutsem.org . If an in-person Council program or camp (excluding Day and Resident) participant does not want to attend the program or camp for which she is registered due to the uncertainty caused by COVID-19, a full refund will be issued if requested at least 7 days prior to the start date of the program or camp. Please allow 30 days to receive. Refund requests should be emailed to the Answer Center at answercenter@girlscoutsem.org . For Day Camp and Resident Camp refund requests, please refer to the Camp Adventure Guide . If a District or Neighborhood event being held at a GSEM camp property is canceled by Council , the District/Neighborhood will automatically receive a full refund for unit fees paid. If a District or Neighborhood event being held at a GSEM camp property is canceled by the District or Neighborhood due to the uncertainty caused by COVID-19, a refund will be issued for unit fees paid, minus the $100 non-refundable deposit, if requested at least 7 days prior to the start date of the event. Please allow 30 days to receive. Refund requests should be emailed to the Answer Center at answercenter@girlscoutsem.org . If a District or Neighborhood event is canceled , participants will automatically receive a full refund. This refund will come from the Event Registrar. Please allow 30 days to receive. If a participant does not want to attend an in-person District or Neighborhood event for which she is registered due to the uncertainty caused by COVID-19, a refund will be issued if requested at least 7 days prior to the start date of the event. Please email the Event Registrar found on the event flier to request a refund.
